Harshavardhan Achyuta
Data Analyst efcom
Harsha has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SRM University, India. He then completed his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Embedded Systems at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. Harsha has worked on various projects in the areas of data analysis and machine learning during his studies and has been part of the efcom team since autumn 2022.
Federico Avellán Borgmeyer
Chief Partner Officer efcom
Federico Avellán Borgmeyer is a consultant and entrepreneur in the FinTech ecosystem. After studying engineering in Berlin, he worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois, researching the first artificial intelligence applications. Other positions he has held include Managing Director for Southern Europe of DataCard Corporation (Madrid), Board Member of FidelioNetworks S.A. (Madrid) and Managing Director of Postbank POSTransact (Rhine-Main area).
For 20 years, Mr. Avellán Borgmeyer has worked as a partner of the management consultancy Amontis AG for clients in Europe, the Middle East, South America and China. As an entrepreneur, he is the founder of Factoring Blockchain Solutions and Tech4Fin Deutschland in Kronberg.
Markus Bienek
Product manager ef3 Webservice
Markus Bienek has been part of the efcom team since 2008. He is responsible for the ef3 web service and leads the further development of the functionalities. He also takes on tasks in the area of customer support and consulting and provides support in setting up ef3, ef3 Webservice and efOnline.
Christian Faber
Partner at Bette Westenberger Brink
Christian Faber advises banks, factoring companies and fintech platforms on the development and international implementation of financial products (factoring, supply chain, cross-border business), on compliance with all financial supervisory law and on cross-border receivables transactions (asset-backed securitisations). He represents clients vis-à-vis BAFIN and the Bundesbank as well as in disputes with clients, borrowers and debtors.
The Finance Monthly M&A Awards 2022 named Christian Faber Banking and Capital Markets Law Adviser of the Year 2022. He is a member of the management team at Bette Westenberger Brink (Managing Partner).
Robert Ivanic
Head of Program Management efcom gmbh
Robert Ivanic has been working in project management for more than 15 years and holds PMP and IPMA Level B certifications. He studied education (Magister) and business administration (MBA) and has gained practical experience in various industries, including financial services, energy, aviation, public sector, software, transport & logistics and insurance. The focus of his activities was on programme and project management, project portfolio management as well as the programme/project office and training.
Since 2023, Robert Ivanic has been in charge of programme management at efcom and is leading the introduction and further development of comprehensive company-wide project management.
Betül Kurtulus
Regional Director Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe & Middle East FCI
Betül Kurtuluş has 25 years’ experience in the Factoring and Leasing industry. She started her career at Anderson Consulting and joined the factoring industry in 1992. Prior to Strateji Factoring, Betül worked at Toprak Banking Group. Until 2018, she has been General Manager at Strateji Factoring, also a Board Member of Yatirim Leasing.
Betül Kurtuluş served as a Board Member of the Association of Financial Institutions of Turkey since 2016. The association consists of three major industries, Factoring, Leasing, and Consumer Finance, with a member of 103 finance companies. Since January 2019, she has been appointed as a Regional Director responsible for Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe and the Middle East. She has a university degree in Economics.
Simon Michaelis
Junior Project Manager efcom gmbh
Simon completed his training as an office management assistant and then worked as a junior project manager at a digital agency near Frankfurt. There he managed projects and sub-projects in a wide variety of subject areas – including the import of goods, web development, online marketing and events.
Simon has been part of the efcom team since June 2023 and supports the introduction and further development of the comprehensive company-wide project management.
Maria Patelkou Konijnenberg
Lead AI infrastructure, graphics & HPC on NVIDIA GPUs at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure EMEA
Maria Patelkou Konijnenberg leads the AI Infrastructure & GPU Specialist team in the Oracle EMEA region – since announcing the partnership with NVIDIA, Oracle’s awareness is shifting from database company to AI cloud service provider. Only Oracle offers NVIDIA GPU as bare metal tethered to the RDMA network for faster AI training times, especially for performance-intensive models with massive datasets, which can lead to faster time-to-market as well as cost savings. We are proud to count NVIDIA, AdeptAI, MosaicML and Soundhound among our references.
Maria’s team helps companies map their AI, graphics and high-performance computing workloads to NVIDIA GPUs in Oracle Cloud and deploy them on Oracle GPU clusters. Michael Petrovic has worked at efcom since 2007. He is largely responsible for the further development, functionality and design of efOnline. His responsibilities also include customer support, consulting and initial installation.
Oliver Rölle
Head of Training efcom
Oliver Rölle has been part of the efcom team since 2004 and previously worked as a consultant for many years. He manages all internal and external product training – from standard to special training. Oliver Rölle has a very broad knowledge of ef3.
Arnulf Romann
CEO efcom
Mutual trust – for one of the four efcom founders Arnulf Romann, this is one of the core factors for the rapid development of professional solutions. Furthermore, he believes: the topic of efficiency is crucial for the success of factoring software. At efcom, he brings in his extensive experience as head of business analysis and thus ensures a smooth integration of our software into the respective customer IT.
Sebastian Schreiber
Founder and Managing Director SySS GmbH
Sebastian Schreiber studied physics, mathematics, business administration and computer science at the University of Tübingen. As a graduate computer scientist, he founded SySS GmbH in 1998 to offer high-quality security assessments. He is still the owner and managing director of the company today and is frequently present at national congresses and in the media – as an expert in the field of IT security. Sebastian Schreiber is a long-standing member of the “Allianz für Sicherheit in der Wirtschaft Baden -Württemberg e.V.” (Alliance for Security in Business) and the advisory board of the magazine “Datenschutz und Datensicherheit” (Data Protection and Data Security).
