Amongst others, he will boost the organization by restructuring the marketing and sales department as well as by developing a new, global sales partner network. Federico\u2019s joining takes place amid efcom\u2019s strategic reorientation<\/strong>: \u201cIn the future, we want to better exploit previously untapped potential by leveraging our vast experience in receivables finance consulting and business solutions offering together with internationally<\/strong> operating partners\u201d.

Federico is no stranger at efcom: He has been working with us for several years as Tech4Fin Germany\u2019s Managing Director, one of our current partner companies. From now on, he will make his broad know-how<\/strong> directly available to efcom. “We have an ambitious goal in mind, not less than delivering the right business cases and its required processes and tools to secure so much demanded SME financing along with financial institutions partners, and this, on a truly global scale. . .That won\u2019t come easy, it will be a major challenge<\/strong> for all of us involved, a tour-de-force, but I am confident and very much looking forward to grow efcom\u2019s global reach” and he emphasizes “all the more and only being possible as I already know efcom, their founders, and especially Arnulf and many others from the efcom team quite well through previous joint projects, making me trust this journey to become an exciting reality<\/strong> for all of us.”

Federico holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universitat Berlin and spent significant time as visiting scholar during his MBA Program at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, researching on early AI technology<\/strong> for business applications, now rather focusing on the professional benefits of Machine Learning<\/strong> and Blockchain technology<\/strong>, mainly in financial business applications.

With an excess of 30 years in banking technology background<\/strong>, Federico has worked in senior strategic and executive positions in payment transactions, i.e. credit card manufacturing, card personalization, merchant acquisition, transaction processing with companies such as WorldCard International, DataCard Corporation, Gemplus\/Gemalto, VeriFone, Fidelio Networks, Postbank POS Transact and FirstData Corporation, as an entrepreneur in receivables finance with Tech4Fin, Factoring Blockchain Solutions, asteria, efcom and as Senior Partner with the Amontis Consulting Group for large clients in different industries across Europe, the Americas, EMEA and China.
